"Clalit Health Services, or in its original name, “General Sick Fund of the Hebrew Workers of the Land of Israel” (in short, “The General Sick Fund”), is the oldest and largest healthcare organization in Israel. The organization provides its services to more than 4.5 million customers across Israel.

The medical services of Clalit Health Services are provided through 1,500 clinics, 14 hospitals, close to 450 pharmacies, 40 children’s healthcare centers, 40 women’s healthcare centers, 58 infant healthcare centers (“Tipat Chalav”), 55 complementary (alternative) therapy centers, 90 dental-care centers and 90 emergency medical centers.
